# Pipedream

> Use the VideoGen Pipedream components to start a VideoGen workflow and receive the finished MP4 in the same step.

The official [Pipedream](https://pipedream.com) component set for VideoGen starts workflows (script, voiceover, slideshow, and prompt to video) from Pipedream. Each action always auto-exports and waits until the MP4 is ready.

The components are generated from the same curated surface as Zapier, Make, and n8n: workflow starts that return the project and the exported file, plus the `project_export.succeeded` trigger.

## Connect

Add a VideoGen step to a Pipedream workflow and connect your account with **OAuth (Sign in with VideoGen)**. Pipedream manages the access token; every action runs as the team that owns the connected account.

## Actions

Four workflow start actions: script to video, voiceover to video, slideshow to video, and prompt to video clip. Each waits until export finishes, then returns `projectId`, `projectUrl` (editor link), `downloadUrl` (signed MP4), and `thumbnailUrl`.

## Triggers (instant sources)

**Project export succeeded** fires when an API export completes. Use it when you want a second workflow to continue from the finished MP4. The source registers a webhook on deploy and removes it on teardown. Other webhook events are not included.
