# AI styles

> Example descriptions to pass as aiStyle when starting a workflow with an AI_IMAGE visual style. Pass the description text directly, or write your own.

When you start a workflow with an `AI_IMAGE` visual style, the `aiStyle` field controls how the generated section visuals look. Pass a free-form description of the look you want. A standard style is used when omitted.

Write `aiStyle` as a **full, strict paragraph**, the same way the app defaults below are written: name the medium, texture, and palette, then lock composition. A short label such as `watercolor` or `flat art` is not enough.

Image models tend to pack the frame with extra objects, readable text, charts, diagrams, tables, and labels. Unless the style forbids that, the still comes out crowded and hard to use. Every description must keep the picture simple: one clear uncluttered subject, centered, occupying only the middle half of the frame, generous empty margins on all four sides, no background clutter, and no on-image text, letters, captions, charts, diagrams, tables, or infographic layout unless you explicitly asked for one specific word or number on screen.

Copy a description below **in full**. Those already include the uncluttered-subject lock. Add the no-text / no-diagram sentence if you write your own.

## Example descriptions

These are the default styles offered in the VideoGen app. There are no style ids. Copy a description below in full and add the no-text / no-diagram sentence, or write your own at the same length and strictness.

**Watercolor**

## Custom styles

Any text you pass is used as the style prompt. Write it at the same length and strictness as the defaults above (medium, texture, palette, then the composition lock). A short label produces crowded frames. For example:
